This is glaringly my debut on the segment of politics my fav.rite;you get?To drive off,then came into my thought this resounding and highly diverse and sensitive subject matter.I had to quickly pick up my ipad to draft these lines.I must say that the lord Jesus Christ truly inspires me to write and write on this blog(future) and itherefore give God the gloryfor His excellence spirit over me.
Let me kick off the Rugby match or the American foot'b because this subject is rugged as these games.People will definitely oppose some of the things i will put across right away and that's fine by me,i love it opposed..There is no master or monopoly of knowledge it depends on how one sees it,it could be viewed rectangularly or another will view it from a 3D dimension and more recently the plastic folding of phones to view things.
Migration needs no re-definition from me as everyone knows it.But what baffles me is is how can anyone migrate without the good intention of integration?Integration in my perspective is from both ends(i will say the gospel truth as i am not a sucker).One end is the migrator who has to lay down all his ego & pride and be ready to learn from the 'new' world society.The other end is the society itself who also as a matter of statutory responsibility has to be ready to educate,enlighten and practically make the migrator to learn the ethos of the new societies norms & values.The culture of a society is diverse,especially a nation that has corporately existed for over a thousand years democratically.Culture include many things,among which is the arts,music,food e.t.c
If someone is not ready or willing to abide by the rules/laws of a land to put it simple,what's the point of migrating from your original place of eldo-rado country of bliss?.I mean i 've been at points where i really get put-off because some talibanic natured idiots cannot comply with the religious settings of a place.Be it a secular state or fully democratic.They(rebels)literally play up the system and attempts to subvert the indigenous people and new arrivals who are possibly law abiding look stupid or perhaps moronic.
Here is the point,if you aren't ready to eat the food(E.g lasaigne , sandwich balls).and play the local music(Dubstep,House,Garage,Indie,Rock) of the land ,what is the point of your migrating?I suppose a balance is needed by everyone in all walks of life.Quite honestly,we know of the extremes of any nation e.g down here,there is lots of sugar use,i mean too much sugar in everything-from tea to soup and cake,and of course creamy stuffs.Yes,peeps 'gat to be careful inorder not to destroy the effective ''man'' functioning of their ''manpower'',hee,hee you know what am saying'.Right ,so the whole point is that no one can be critically descriminative about every and all things about a particular place.We also all know,that at least the indigenous peeps love it the way it is.I personally don't use to cook fruits,i mean cook fruits like Carrots,Beetroths in my food.I used to find Beet' as too reddish and look like blood colourings.I happen to be raised to eat fruits as un-cooked raw,but now am in the cooked carrots league e.t.c.What can i do?Tell you what,i love it now too.I don't use to like green peas while growing up on my own as a man;because it just freaks me out.same as frying mushrooms,simply due to the fact that i wasn't necessarily raised with it.We use to have it once in a while as a child,i remember my parents love it;but now i have adaptedly loved it.People have to adapt and even improvise to integrate.
Integrating with a language and good manners.Hey!,here people will argue.Can anyone truly integrate without an improved ascent?i think it's vital to improve your ascent,and not necessarily do a medical surgery on your tongue but for crying out loud one has to improve the vocal sound and make a conscious detail to pronounciation.Don't portray yourself as a bush but educated man/wo'.How can you still be shouting across from one mile end to the other mile end?Please lower your voice,keep your voice low.Do not be DUMB.The dogs are barking ,they aren't use to it.Stepping out the other night,after a good friend of ours did a 'stag do',this naija and his jamo mate,a duo of good for nothing peerage;kangaroo mannered,were politely told to calm down with their village palace vocals,all he the naija could do was:''wetin? i go shout'' and shouted they both did at 4a.m,even the angels in this world are taking a nap at such holy hours.The raggy dudes shouted for a good non-stop 20 mins,merely repeating how they both hit the floor during the party.I felt like hiring a bus to shuttle him to Lagos and the other to the plantation farm to work with his tooth.Honestly,i don't see what is so difficult about developing impeccable manners.Once someone starts been conscious of it,the effort and style develops and become a part of you.O.k people may as well take cheap vocal lessons.It can even be found online and certain telephone call centres with a vocal coach.But i like to stress that it is imperative for people to read useful books,that may encourage them to understand bits and bits of the development of Western europe.Sometimes even political philosophy books can be readily useful and based on that note i will recommend two books i read a while ago:(1).Roy Hattersley,JOHN WESLEY:A BRAND FROM THE BURNING(2).TRUMAN by Roy Jenkins.
